The exterior of the Taxa Mantis Overland is built to withstand the rigors of off-road adventures while offering convenience and style. The trailer features a 180-degree awning and Thule dual load bars, providing ample outdoor living and storage space. The rear entrance door allows easy access, and the outdoor shower offers convenience for cleaning up after a day of exploration. The axle-less suspension ensures a smooth ride over rough terrains, and the compact design allows the trailer to fit in a 7-foot garage. The unique exterior wraps add a personalized touch, making the Mantis Overland a head-turner on and off the road. Additional features include an under-mounted spare tire, solar panel input, Lock N Roll articulating hitch, and Victron MPPT solar controller, enhancing its off-grid capabilities.

The bed can be converted into a dinette, and the bunk system can be dropped into a couch, creating room for the whole family. The indoor kitchen is equipped with a two-burner Dometic stove, ICECO fridge, and removable storage bins for easy packing. The wet bath includes a cassette toilet and the Truma water heater and furnace ensure you stay warm and have hot water on demand. The air conditioner keeps the interior cool during hot summer days, making the Mantis Overland comfortable in all seasons.

The Taxa Mantis is a rugged 19-foot-long habitat that comfortably sleeps 4 adults, and can be stored in most 7’ garages. Designed with the perfect blend of durable construction and lightweight materials, TAXA habitats are some of the lightest towable campers on the market for their size, capacity and features.

Work Away From Home

With an all new front Flex Space, the Mantis 5.2 offers an area with creates a work/play table that adjusts to be a standing desk, a counter extension, or a bedside table.

Comfortable Seating for Six

Convert the bed to a dinette, drop the bunk system into a couch and create room for the whole family (and then some!) to kick back when the weather calls for indoor time.

Stay Cool

Enhanced cooling performance in the Taxa Mantis with an 8,000 BTU Air Conditioner on a lockable sliding base with a hinged exterior cover. By thoughtfully positioning the AC unit, Taxa was able to increase the BTU allowing for fresh air to circulate throughout your habitat.
