Most trailers make you pick. Bring the toys, or bring a real bed. The Pause Restart R17TH lets you bring both. At 21 feet 9 inches it is short enough to park in your driveway and tow without a second thought, but the rear gate drops into a level deck or a full ramp to the ground, and the porch walls roll out in about a minute to turn the spot you just unloaded your bikes into an enclosed outdoor room. Inside, the Murphy bed folds down at night and the panel underneath lifts into a table for dinner, so the same floor space works twice. Underneath, a 6 inch steel chassis, independent suspension, and knobby tires mean the dirt road is where your trip starts instead of where it stops. Add the solar and lithium package and the refrigerator stays cold days from the nearest hookup. Bring everything. Skip the reservation.

The R17TH is wrapped in seamless laminated fiberglass in Moss, a gloss green grey that hides trail dust better than white ever will, with no seams for water to find and no thin siding to dent. The rear is the whole point: the gate drops on cables into a level deck, or you pull the cables and it lays all the way down as a ramp, then the wall panels roll out on rollers and lock in to close the space off. One person, one minute, no tools. Up front, a tent bed opens with its own protective cover, so grimy toys stay in the garage and your bedding stays clean. The rest is built for how you actually camp: a 12 foot power awning with a wind sensor that pulls itself in before a storm can wreck it, an oversized door handle you can grab with a full hand instead of pinching a plastic tab, slam latches that stop the rattle, an outside sprayer with hot and cold water for muddy boots and muddier kids, and heated water and waste tanks so a cold night does not end the trip.
