New Bedroom, Bathroom, and Living Area

Some big changes inside make daily life in the Pause smoother and more comfortable. The bedroom doors now latch securely in the closed position, so you won’t have to deal with doors swinging open on bumpy trails. You now have the choice between two twin beds with a permanent nightstand (complete with outlets and a power receptacle) or sticking with the massive king bed if you’re after max sleeping space. Plus, two fans in the bedroom help keep the airflow moving on hot desert days or muggy forest nights.

In the bathroom, they’ve ditched the old shower curtain. Instead, there’s now a sliding fabric shower door that looks and feels more premium. And for chilling out, a larger 32-inch TV has been added with a vertical swivel bracket which is perfect for movie nights after a long day of exploring.

New Kitchen and Dinette

Food is a big part of any trip, and the kitchen area now feels even more functional. The dinette table is now full-sized, giving you more space to eat, work, or play cards inside. The new square sink is bigger and comes with a two-in-one solid cover and drying rack combo, which is perfect for saving counter space.

A new window over the kitchen adds natural light and ventilation, while a light above the exterior kitchen means you’re not stuck grilling in the dark. They’ve also added a backslash to the side of the stove for easier cleanup. And if you’re familiar with the Pause XC20.3, you’ll recognize the upgraded dinette bench on the door side which is now stationary and mounted, making the interior feel more solid and secure.

New Exterior

Let’s talk about what’s changed on the outside. First up, 40-pound propane tanks are now standard, and there’s an optional onboard generator good for extended trips off the grid. The exterior now comes in a sleek gray high-gloss fiberglass finish (the only available option), which looks sharp and is easy to maintain.

The graphics package has been updated with the removal of the tree decals for a cleaner look, and you’ll now see metal Pause badging on the sides and front of the trailer. The rear patio has also seen a visual upgrade, now featuring semi-gloss black fiberglass instead of the old rhino lining. It’s a more refined look that doesn’t compromise on durability.

What Hasn’t Changed?

While a lot of new features have been added, all the core strengths of the Pause XC22.4 are still here. You’re still getting the Huck-riveted military-grade chassis, all-aluminum construction (no wood, no rot), and next-level off-grid power systems with up to 1,080Ah of lithium, 1,800W of solar, and a 4000W LP generator.

The MORryde Air Suspension and articulating hitch are still here to give you a smooth, stable ride wherever you go. And inside, you’ve still got the premium kitchen setup, spacious mid-ship bathroom, and that killer rear patio deck that turns any campsite into a hangout spot.

If you’re already eyeing the Pause, these updates make it even harder to pass up. Everything about the new updated Pause XC22.4 is designed for serious off-road travel without sacrificing the comforts you actually want when you’re out in the wild. Whether you’re heading deep into the backcountry, boondocking in the desert, or camping with the family at a national park, this trailer is built to handle it all and look good doing it.
