Is The Cinderella Incinerating Toilet Worth It?

Roa Showroom1 Toilet

With the price of the Cinderella incinerating toilet, you probably wonder if it’s even worth buying right? If you didn’t I would actually be a little surprised to tell the truth. I wondered about it too, which is why after some research I wanted to write about it. That way you will have the opportunity to decide for yourself that the Cinderella is indeed worth it.

The Company

Before we tackle the toilet itself, let’s look at the company just a bit. I was really impressed by them. It isn’t just some transactional company trying to make a quick buck. That couldn’t be further from the truth. Let me tell you about the 2 things that impressed me the most about them.

Customer Support

The first thing that is very impressive is their customer support. They have had groups come to them to wanting to buy these toilets and saying things like: “we can buy hundreds or thousands of these! They are so innovative. These could be such a game changer!” Instead of going along with the offers, Cinderella has actually turned down a lot of them. They want to make sure the toilets get into the right hands. If they don’t feel like the business buying them would do well with the installation they often turn down those offers. The reason is because the company wants to oversee the support and want it to be good from the get go.

They also want to makes sure they’re getting this product into the market in a very steady way, so that they can keep up with the customer support. They know that if thousands of the incinerating toilets got sold all at once they couldn’t keep up and that would damage their ability to give good support. That’s really admirable because customer service is something that not enough companies focus on.

Mission Driven

The second thing that really stands out is how mission driven they are. Instead of just trying to sell toilets, they actually want to get toilets not only to the average Joe, but to everyone. At first glance it may seem a bit silly because it seems like such a little thing. Besides that most people have access to a toilet already right? It’s not that big of a deal. That’s not actually the case. There’s a huge, huge issue with sanitation around the world. Much bigger than you may think. In fact, almost a billion people in the world still defecate in the open, because they don’t have plumbing around to use. That’s right, one billion. That means that 1 out of every 8 people don’t have a place to go except right there on the ground!

If that was all it would be bad enough, but it gets worse than just not having privacy. Hundreds of thousands of kids die every year under the age of five, and it’s directly attributed to contaminated water from people urinating and defecating in places near the water. It really is a massive problem around the world that many of us simply don’t think about because it’s so normal for us to have plumbing. The truth of this issue hasn’t been wasted on Cinderella. They truly are aware of what is going on and want to do something about it.

The Cinderella Toilet

Now, let’s tackle the toilet itself

Here at ROA OFF-ROAD we actually got the very first one in the United States of America

This travel series toilet has been around for going on seven or so years now; in Europe. Cinderella as a company as a whole has been making incinerating toilets for over 25 years. They have a lot of experience and know what they are doing. So, what is an incinerating toilet? You can probably guess by the name, but an incinerating toilet burns everything that goes into it. You do your business and, then the toilet fires up. Don’t worry, it won’t start burning until you are done. Before long everything is turned to nothing but simple ash. It then goes into a tray that you can remove and dump just about anywhere!

That’s great! If you have a bag of waste or a whole black tank of it, there are only certain places you can dump your waste. On the other hand, you can empty out a tray of ashes pretty much everywhere.

Don’t Worry About The Germs

Another fantastic thing about it is that the Cinderella toilet is bacteria free! You don’t have all that waste sitting around or any of the smells and health concerns that come along with standing waste. Because everything is simply burned to ash, you will never have to worry about such things. If you were so inclined you could use this ash to even help as soil fertilizer for a tree or plant!

There are some other incinerating toilets out there, but they aren’t UL rated. That is a big deal. Of course just being approved by one of the big guys doesn’t mean it’s a good toilet, but the Cinderella really is leaps and bounds ahead of its competition. We have actually tried many of the incinerating toilet brands and had a lot of issues with them. The only one ROA OFF ROAD has felt comfortable standing behind to this point is Cinderella.

Not only do they use much higher quality parts to make sure there aren’t issues, these toilets have a 3 year warranty. That is way more than the other incinerating toilets around. This company really goes the extra mile to make sure their product is something phenomenal.

Capacity

With many toilets and black tanks, you don’t have a lot of time before they fill up, which means ending your adventure earlier than you should have to. The Cinderella puts the other toilets to shame when it comes to longevity,

first off, it is not limited by water, because of course it doesn’t use any. second, it is only limited by the amount of propane you have. The nice thing is that even if you don’t have a lot, the Cinderella is very efficient. On one 20 pound propane tank you can flush 40-60 times! Even if you and 2 other people were using the bathroom 5 times a day each that would be 4 days off of just one 20 pound propane tank. That really is a big deal. So, if you have two 20 pound tanks then you could easily stay out a week, longer depending how many people are using the toilet.

with so many trailers the toilet/tank capacity is always a weak point, but that simply isn’t the case with the Cinderella.

Conclusion

The Cinderella, in my opinion is worth every penny. There are just so many benefits to having this toilet. Bacteria free waste, simple dumping, longevity and much more. If you are looking for an incarnating toilet, whether for your cabin to avoid a septic tank or for your off road camper, I’d say go for it!
